Protection
ConGuard+
Supplied in 25 liter
Water- and oil-repellent impregnation for tiles, natural stone and finer concrete.
Multi Coating ConGuard+ is an impregnation that repels both water and oil. Where ConGuard protects against moisture, ConGuard+ also handles stains: spills of coffee, red wine and oils stay on the surface instead of soaking in.
The product is made for finer surfaces - tiled bathrooms, toilets and kitchens, and for slate, granite, marble and natural stone tiles. It changes little of the surface’s structure, colour and sheen, and gives natural stone a natural glow.
The treatment is roughly 96% diffusion-open. Moisture escapes from the substrate, but does not enter. ConGuard+ can be used on both new and old surfaces, indoors and outdoors.
ConGuard+ is tested by KIWA AS to four European standards.
Areas of use

Application guide
What you need
- ConGuard+
- Microfibre cloth, roller, brush or suitable applicator pad, low-pressure sprayer
- Cleaning equipment
- Gloves and suitable protective equipment
- Clean cloths for removing excess
Before you start
The surface must be clean, completely dry and free from dust, grease, soap residue, limescale and previous treatments.
On dense or polished materials it is particularly important to test the product first.
Important limitations
- Do not let excess product dry on the surface.
- Avoid direct sunlight, high heat and the risk of rain during application.
- Gloss, texture or colour tone may be slightly affected on some materials.
How to apply
- Clean the surface thoroughly.
- Rinse away all cleaning agent residue.
- Let the substrate dry completely.
- Turn or stir the product gently.
- Apply a thin, even coat.
- Work systematically so the whole area is covered.
- Remove product that does not penetrate before it dries.
- Let the surface dry and cure before it is exposed to water, oil or other loads.
Important to remember
- Apply several thin coats rather than one thick coat if the substrate requires it.
- Always test on a small, inconspicuous area.
