Liquid gel that removes tagging and graffiti from most surfaces.

Multi Coating Graffiti Cleaner is a liquid gel that dissolves spray paint and marker ink. Its consistency keeps the product on vertical surfaces long enough to work, instead of running off.

The product works on both hard, non-absorbent surfaces and porous substrates. The method differs slightly: on smooth surfaces a thick layer is left to act, on porous surfaces the product is worked into the surface. Both are finished by rinsing with hot water.

Graffiti Cleaner also removes window film and advertising film. If the surface is to be protected against new tagging, apply Anti Graffiti after cleaning.

Application guide

What you need

  • Graffiti Cleaner
  • Brush, cloth or suitable applicator
  • Soft or medium-stiff brush
  • Gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing
  • Clean water or the recommended washing equipment
  • Equipment for collecting contaminated wash water and paint residue

Before you start

Establish what type of surface and paint is to be treated.

Always test the product on a small area to check that the substrate is not damaged or discoloured.

Protect plants, glass, metal and surrounding surfaces.

Important limitations

  • Do not let the product dry on the surface.
  • A long dwell time can affect some substrates.
  • Keep the product and contaminated wash water out of drains, soil and watercourses.

How to apply

  1. Remove loose dirt from the area.
  2. Apply the product directly to the graffiti.
  3. Spread the product evenly with a brush or other suitable tool.
  4. Let it work for the recommended time.
  5. Work the area gently if needed.
  6. Remove the dissolved paint using the recommended washing method.
  7. Rinse the surface thoroughly.
  8. Repeat the treatment rather than using unnecessary force if any paint remains.
  9. Collect paint residue and wash water in line with applicable regulations.

Important to remember

  • Always use suitable protective equipment.
  • Ensure good ventilation indoors.
  • Anti Graffiti protection normally has to be renewed after cleaning.
